What makes a good tittle sequence?
Kyle Cooper is accredited with making one of the most popular title sequences in the 90's called Seven. Kyle cooper also made good title sequence such as the spider-man movies and the superman returns. What makes a good title sequence according to Kyle Cooper is being simple and creative. He likes the idea of originality and thinks that title sequences should excite the viewers enough for them to watch the film to the end. He believes that the font used in Seven shows the genre of the film and the audience can tell that it will be mystery/thriller. Kyle Cooper likes the title sequence for Dead zone because its simple typography and the music makes the atmosphere mysterious. He also likes the title sequence for To kill a mocking bird because the main obsession is showed clearly. What Kyle Cooper means by story based in the title sequence is that that metaphor is clear and the back story pun is to do with the film. The kind of problems a studio face after and audience test screening might face are that the production team might not have enough to do another shoot or the audience might understand certain aspects. This is why title sequence become an important thing for the studio because it adds another scene and becomes a prologue. The title sequence of Dawn of the dead try to portrait fear through displaying scenes of zombies and abandoned houses.
